Security keys aren’t just normal keys that we use to lock our cabin doors or desks. Security keys are a bunch of keys which can open every door in a building. Depending on the rank of the security guard these keys are selected. And all these keys are stored within the main security block a security guard has to report and should take his keys for his shift. But stealing these keys or taking the bunch of keys which can give access to every room makes a thief’s work a lot easier. So keeping a record on who’s taken which keys is necessary. And this is done by using access control systems for keys through electronic key cabinets

Electronic key cabinets are electronic boxes which have contained all the security keys within it. The main purpose of this box is to hold all the keys and give them only to authorized personnel. It also has to make sure that the keys won’t lost and remind the manager incase the keys aren’t returned. This is mainly done through a soft rod on which electronic code in printed and the rod acts like a hook when it is connected to the cabinet. The person has to type the secret code which is assigned to each key bunch to take them. No one can steal them as these keys as they are tamper proof. These can be found with Anchor access control systems and they are mainly for drivers and guards. Installing guard tour systems also comes in handy for checking on the guard.
